Congratulations! You're engaged!
Now comes the fun part......planning & picking vendors!
Whether you are a DIY couple or have a planner, this is the most fun part about making your wedding uniquely you! Your vision is important and I want to be a part of your special day!
Did you know a lot of brides don't plan for hair/makeup and end up losing out because they wait until the last minute?
Booking with Andrea
My packages include your trial and wedding day makeup. Your trial, which is booked around 1-2 months before your wedding day at my studio in Snohomish, is a chance to try the look you've been thinking of, tweak it and come up with a picture perfect look. As an esthetician, I personalize your skin prep to your skin type before starting your makeup. On your wedding day, I use some gold or rose gold eye treatment pads on my clients & they love it! It hydrates, helps to de-puff, hydrate and brighten, PLUS they're fun!
Also, being an esthetician, I do offer beauty services in addition to makeup. I'm a master lash artist and I also offer facials and brow shaping at my studio.
Everything you need to get yourself ready to say I do.
We will discuss your timeline at the time of booking and come up with a good start/end time based on your wedding party and time frame available. I have referrals for hair services listed under "Preferred Vendors", but can always reach out to find others for you!
When I arrive on-site for your wedding, I bring my chair, a professional makeup light, my full kit, lashes and more!

Q: When should I book my date?
A: Book as early as you can! Typically, most brides are booking around 6-8 months before their wedding, but more and more brides are booking 1-1.5 years before their wedding. I still get requests from brides that are a few days to a few weeks out from their wedding day and most of the time, that's too late, but sometimes I end up being able to accommodate them. It's better to book as soon as possible though!
Q: Why should I hire a professional makeup artist for my wedding/event?
A: The question is why not? Couples research photographers, venues and caterers for months to find someone who is professional, skilled and that you feel comfortable with. Why is a makeup artist any less important? When you are getting your makeup professionally done, it's not as simple as a makeover. I'm a licensed esthetician, so I first prep your skin for your skin type, then I work on your eyes, using colors to compliment your skin tone, undertone and vision. I custom blend to your perfect foundation shade, add in dimension using multiple shades and use professional products that will last all night and show up in photos beautifully.
There's a lot more expertise behind it than most people think and you want to hire a professional artist who knows how to do that. I've seen too many people pick based on cheap pricing and end up regretting their choice.
Q: How can I book with you?
A: For booking, first thing to do is to contact me with your wedding details and then fill out my consultation form. Once we have talked about your details and confirm a timeline, we can get started on officially booking your day. I require a signed contract along with a booking retainer (50% of agreed amount). The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferrable to another date/service. Without both these items, your wedding is not booked. Bookings are first come, first serve. I will not reserve a date for you unless I have both those items.
Q: Do you provide services on-site?
A: I do! I travel all over Washington, across the nation & internationally! It's less stressful to have your artist come on-site to provide services. You just get to relax and allow me to pamper you and your wedding party!
**Travel Fees Apply**
Q: Do you offer hair services?
A: No, I don't. I think there's a misconception that all makeup artists do hair. I dabble in it. I can do simple styles but I much prefer to refer you to one of the stylists that I'm lucky to work with who will make your vision come to life.
Q: Can I do a trial?
A: Of course! I include the trial into the Wedding Makeup Package. Any additional trials are paid for separately. I do want all my brides to do a trial with me. If you decide not to do a trial, the wedding day makeup price is higher. I do understand there are some brides who are out of state or country and won't have time before the wedding for a trial. In that case, please send your Pinterest boards, photos, color scheme, wedding colors, color of jewelry you'll be wearing, etc for me to look over.
Q: Can you just do the bride's makeup?
A: I have a $500 service minimum for wedding bookings in peak season (May-September) & a $350 service minimum for off-peak season (October-April). If you choose to only book the bride's makeup service, you would be charged that minimum. The minimum doesn't include travel fee.
Q: Can I just get my eyes done?
A: No. If you'd like to have your makeup done, it's the full service rate. I don't offer partial or a-la carte options.
Q: Can you just use my makeup?
A: Unfortunately, no I can't. I have a full kit ready to service you, stocked with professional products that I keep sanitized. I can't guarantee, nor will my insurance cover me using someone else's products. Don't fret! I got you covered!
Q: Do you only do makeup for weddings?
A: No, in fact, a lot of clients book me for their engagement session, bachelorette party boudoir session or rehearsal dinner, in addition to their wedding. I also do makeup for prom, quinceañeras, homecoming, senior portrait sessions, boudoir sessions, vow renewals, family portraits, business headshots, etc.
Contact me with your questions and if you have an event coming up, let me know! I'd love to be a part of it!
